=====EXCERPTS ==========================================
"House Majority Leader Tom DeLay (R-Texas) suggested that even Bush's proposed increases in defense and domestic security would not be sacrosanct.

"I'm not disagreeing with the president," DeLay said, "but from my perspective, everything has to be on the table…. Nothing should be avoided and nothing should be left out from our scrutiny." "

HOW DARE TOM DELAY SUGGEST the Defense budget is on the table.. what an unpatriotric thing to do !!!! What is he a commie! This is not what Bush won his mandate for. Asshole. Real patriots understand the need for a strong army... even one that is 7 times bigger the next biggest country. and many times larger than all other countries combined!

Don't forget.. Kerry suggested we need to look at the 87 billion they were asked to vote on.. and got his ass kicked.. remember a little thing called "sweeping mandate" hmmmm... Maybe you and Kommie Kerry need to go wind surfing together... dumb ass.

"One of the most controversial proposals among Republicans was Bush's plan to curb farm subsidies and other aid to rural areas — measures that hit hardest in farm belt states that voted heavily for Bush.

Those who are currently advocating these draconian cuts would not be in office today if it weren't for rural America," said Rep. John E. Peterson (R-Pa.), co-chairman of the Congressional Rural Caucus.

Bush's farm proposals met a potentially fatal blow by drawing opposition from two key Senate panel chairmen: Thad Cochran (R-Miss.) of the Appropriations Committee and Saxby Chambliss (R-Ga.) of the Agriculture Committee. "

HOW CONDESCENDING IS THAT? - Look asshole - the voters were presented very clearly from the Dems what Bush would do (not what he'd say he'd do mind you) .. and they were ok with it, and voted him in.. this is what they want! They had the choice clearly spelled out for them. How insulting to now say.. this is not what "they" voted for.. this is exactly what they voted for... net net - farm subsidies.... GONE! Social Security - for all including over 55 GONE or dimished! Social programs for poor people.... GONE! Education... CUT.. etc. And all extra money (and then some) goes to the WAR.. and BIG Governement.. that is to pay for the war machine etc. (well maybe the interest on the loan we need to take out from Japan and China every quarter to go in debt to build the army.. I beg your pardon) .. and some small tax cuts for middle class.. and big tax cuts for rich folks.. this is what the people voted for..(this is how Bush got his huge sweeping 1% mandate).. now stop insulting the intelligence of your voters and constituents in the farm belt.. dick wad... sheeeeesh.

" Other Republicans complained about Bush's plans to restructure and scale back Medicaid — the federal-state health program for the poor — and other programs aiding state and local governments. Sen. Norm Coleman (R-Minn.), a former mayor, assailed Bush's proposal to cut Community Development Block Grants to cities, calling it a nonstarter. "

WHAT A BUNCH OF WHINERS>... sheesh... Look Numbnutz... Bush won a MANDATE.. get over it.. the Dems understand and have gotten over it.. ... let's give the people what they want a Strong Miliatary... BIG Gov't. and few social programs (including cuts to SS for all those currently getting it, and future payments)...non stop deficit and debt..people are ok with this.... this is what the people want! Now stop being an obstructionist. Sound like socialists to me!!!
